Artist's Commentscouldn't help use those lyrics, they were in my head as soon as i sketched her. originally there was a rock there but it sucked so i put my 'sonas name, since this is possibly the new Laki. i don't feel like drawing myself as a 'wolf' anymore. do i feel like a moniter-lizard looking iguana? maybe. but either way i'm keeping this chick as an O.C., although I'll probably refine her design a bit before I make her a ref. sheet... i'm usually really afraid to draw lizards but i've decided that if i ever want to be good at it i'll need to practice. good logic, eh? so please critique the living hell out of this. really. do it. Info: GIMP, as always; as far as time, oh gosh. about 4 hours? .__. things always take me longer than they should. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.  reports, 1d 20h agoThis newsletter was "born" back in March 2007, from a conversation between ~Lareth and =FrozenStarRo, who with the help of their friends *Iardacil and *Sylwiaa , wanted to make something to promote known and unknown photomanipulators alike here on DeviantArt. As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same. |
